However, please note :

Using three magnets of 2,200 Gauss each , placed near each other, will not give you 6,600 Gauss. The magnetic power remains the same, i.e. 2,200 Gauss.

However, by using 3 magnets you will be treating a larger area, simply because you will have larger magnet coverage.
